A free retro game that is mercilessly difficult to complete
Jet Set Willy: ZX Spectrum is about as retro as games come these days. The main reason is because Jet Set Willy is actually a very old game that used to play on the ZX Spectrum. It is a game that was released for 8-bit gaming devices. You play as a pixilated character who has to navigate obstacles and enemies in a two-dimensional environment. It is the great grandfather of games such as Mario. Despite its limited appeal and very basic graphics, it does offer a merciless challenge for nostalgic gamers who have grown weary of infinite checkpoints and regenerating health. Even though the enemies are pixilated, it is easy to see what is a duck, what is grass, what is a chandelier and so forth.
